CRISTINA AINHOA
Cristina Ainhoa is a Spanish-American actor, director and screenwriter living and working between Boston, New York, Madrid and Los Angeles.
Leading new indie comedy teams and directing innovative new works with Boston’s Company One Theater CoLab 2025, a dynamic cohort committed to crafting powerful scripts that tackle pressing civic and social issues.
Cristina is committed to building a vibrant artistic community and empowering the next generation of creators to foster social sustainability through challenging times, using storytelling and transformative artistic expression as powerful tools for growth.
Cristina is represented by Stewart Talent in New York City and Abrams Artists in Los Angeles.
Cristina received formal training in acting, music, and theater in New York City before launching an exciting career in television in Los Angeles, where she spent over five years performing and working on screen and behind the camera in network television. You may have seen her appear in several national commercial campaigns as well. She honed her comedic skills at Second City, IO West, and Upright Citizens Brigade, ultimately landing in comedy and long-form improv. Most recently, she completed a six-month run at Union Comedy in Somerville, MA. Cristina is now focused on stage and film directing, while also enjoying teaching improv, studying sociology, and deepening her dance practice in her free time. She will be pursuing further education at Harvard starting in the Fall of 2025 where her diverse perspective, boundless curiosity, and unique blend of creative talents will continue to inform her creative growth.
Her hope is to tell stories that help deepen our understanding of the human spirit and illuminate the transformative power of love, resilience and second chances.
